WASHINGTON – June 12, 2017 – Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to announce that the board of directors of the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) has named Rob Niccolini as the new president-elect designate for the coming year. Rob will serve as president of the association in fiscal year 2019-2020.
Niccolini, a shareholder with Ogletree Deakins, is co-chair of the firm’s Healthcare Practice group and represents management in employment litigation and labor disputes. His practice includes all facets of employment discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, covenants not to compete and employment torts, as well as labor arbitration, union campaigns, and unfair labor practice proceedings. He also has extensive experience with class and collective actions.

Niccolini has been an active leader within AHLA. He has been chair of the Membership and Public Interest Committees, as well as the Labor and Employment Practice Group, and vice-chair of the Publications, Labor and Employment Practice Group. Over the years, Niccolini has been selected to speak at more than 20 AHLA programs and has also been published in both AHLA’s Connections Magazine and the Journal of Health & Life Sciences.
