• Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a national medical equipment management company, dismissing the plaintiff’s sexual harassment and negligence claims under the New York State Human Rights Law and New York City Human Rights Law in the New York Supreme Court, Kings County, on the basis that the company was not the plaintiff’s employer.
• Secured a “no cause” finding on behalf of a retail client regarding claims of alleged race, age, and sex discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the New York State Human Rights Law.
• Obtained dismissal on behalf of a global digital sports platform company of an employee’s Family and Medical Leave Act claims on the basis that the company was not the employee’s direct employer, nor an employer under the joint employer or single integrated enterprise theories.
• Won a motion to compel arbitration with respect to a former employee’s pregnancy discrimination, retaliation, and failure to accommodate claims under the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination.
• Secured a “no cause” finding on behalf of a manufacturing company for claims of alleged sex and disability discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the New York State Human Rights Law.
• Obtained an order striking the plaintiff’s expert witness’ declaration and successfully briefed opposition to the plaintiff’s appeal to the Supreme Court of New York, Appellate Division, First Department, upholding the trial court’s decision.
• Secured a favorable award in a multi-day arbitration hearing with respect to alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and New York Labor Law.
